Back to Gorman Falls at Colorado Bend State Park

I tell you, if it weren't such a long drive into Austin for work, I would love to live out in the Hill Country.  But, perhaps when I retire I can!
Because I missed 'optimal lighting' during my last visit to Gorman Falls at Colorado Bend State Park, I really wanted to get back out there.  This time I got up at 4am to get there by 6:30am.  I was down by the falls by 7:30am (it is an hour hike), and the natural lighting was pleasantly diffused by a cloud layer that almost resembled fog.  This allowed me to get some long exposures, in the 2+ minute range.  I really like the results!  Plus, the trees and such are finally starting to change color, so there is a significant difference in that from last time.  I have attached a couple of todays' photos, and the rest can be seen on my website at in the 'Most Recent' gallery.  I moved the others out of that gallery, so only today's is there currently.
I have to say though, 'Colorado_Bend_SP_010' is my favorite waterfall photo out of all I have taken so far.  However, 'Colorado_Bend_SP_009' is pretty neat though, because the rocks at the base of the falls look to me like a person sitting there enjoying the falls, haha.  I wish I could have gotten closer on 009 because of the trees in the way, but that area is a 'sensitive' zone that is restricted, and the last thing I am going to do is mess up anything just for a photo.
Cheers =)
